Health Canada approved face mask

We need your help to develop a reusable mask design that is proven safe for use by health care workers during the COVID pandemic. With this design, we hope to make a big dent in the PPE shortage. Reusable PPE can be produced locally by craftspeople who are out of work during the pandemic.
Research shows that cotton masks are not good enough for health care workers and could even be harmful once they are wet. We are testing other fabrics that are better at filtering virus particles.
The ROSE project team is made up of doctors, architects, engineers, and sewists. We are highly qualified and emotionally invested in ensuring frontline workers aren't denied protection because of PPE supply chain issues.
The funds we raise will help us obtain material, support the sewists and pay for time in a research lab to run the tests.
