Rev. Joseph Murupus Family

We received heartbreaking news from Kenya that Rev. Joseph Murupus, the founder of The Reverend Murupus Academy (R.M.A.) in Kapenguria, Kenya, died recently from COVID-19.  We are shocked and so, so sad.  Please keep his family and the teachers and staff at R.M.A. in your prayers. 

Joseph was a gifted and inspirational leader who was highly regarded and very influential.  This is going to be a loss that is felt deeply in his community and throughout Kenya.   Joseph was a visionary Christian educator, a man of deep and abiding faith, a respected leader in the Reformed Church of East Africa, a prayer warrior, and an innovative entrepreneur who was always looking for ways to help more students/families afford Christian education.

Joseph was a loving husband to his wife, Mary, and a loving father to Margaret, Rhoda, Anne, Cornelius, Robert, and Norbert, and his late son, Kevin.  He was a wonderful and much loved grandfather, too!  

We are raising money for Joseph's family to help with funeral costs and, also, for the hospital care he received prior to his death.  We thank you, in advance, for any help that you can provide to Joseph's family during this tragic time.
