Appeal for Rev Rachel Kuria’s Hosp. bill clearance n Funeral

Hi all, My name is Elizabeth, mostly known as Lisa Kuria. I created this appeal for help to raise funds for my mum Ms.Rachel Kuria’s medical expenses and care.

My mum was diagnosed with lung cancer last year in Aberdeen, Scotland. We spoke to the doctors and they said the prognosis was poor; she was very saddened but had a burden to see her only grandchild in Kenya so her consultant did an examination and cleared her to travel abroad for a short while to see her family before what we hoped would be her coming back to start treatment. She did not make it back to the country as she became poorly and the doctors declared that she is not fit to travel.

Update: It is with great sadness that Rev Rachel Kuria passed on to glory on 10 May after being hospitalised in Kenya. Whilst we grieve we are very grateful for the time that she has had with us.

Any contributions will go towards the funeral arrangements and covering the medical expenses.
