Who We Are

We are Rahee Foundation, a non-profit organization of the Iranian diaspora in Toronto dedicated to publishing uncensored works that enlighten and educate. We believe in the power of truth and the importance of presenting diverse viewpoints, especially for Persian-speaking communities worldwide.

Our Project

We have the exclusive rights to translate and publish the Persian edition of Israel: A Concise History of a Nation Reborn by Daniel Gordis. This award-winning book provides an accessible, narrative history of Israel and the Jewish people that dispels common misconceptions and offers insights into Israel’s cultural, economic, and military developments.

This book was named Jewish Book of the Year by the Jewish Book Council in 2016 and was praised for its balanced perspective and compelling narrative. It is important that Persian-speaking readers have access to such resources, especially in times of growing tensions and widespread misinformation.

Why It Matters

Of the over 100 million Persian/Farsi speakers worldwide, a sizable majority are constantly exposed to the relentless propaganda of the Islamic regime in Iran. Not only has this regime dominated news coverage for over 45 years, but it has also shaped perceptions through a one-sided, often distorted view of historical and current events. Our translation of Israel: A Concise History of a Nation Reborn into Persian is not just another book in another language — it is an important act of resistance against censorship and the disinformation campaign orchestrated by the regime.

This book aims to debunk decades of systematic falsehoods by offering a clear, balanced view of Israel's complex history.
