Reverend Yvonne Brock

Reverend Yvonne Brock known to many as Pastor Brock or Mother Brock has exchanged her rugged cross for his precious crown. Our mother was an exceptional GOD fearing women all about our fathers work. To know her was to love her. She was always helping anyone who crossed her path. She would give anyone her last dime or the shirt off her back. She was known for offering her daughter's services if she couldn't assist someone. She went to work everyday at East Rancho Dominguez Community Center and was very well liked by all the seniors and staff. Unfortunately, she fell in her home on March 3, 2020 and was found by her daughter Joe-Anne non responsive and lying on the apartment floor.  CPR was performed and she was revived taken to the hospital where she remained until March 23rd when she was taken to a rehabilitation facility in La Habra. She had been tested weekly for Covid and test came back negative. Just 3 days before she was to go home she was unable to walk and her blood sugar, pressure and cholesterol was very high. She was sent to P.I.H. Whittier ER where she tested positive for Covid-19 and her body was shutting down rapidly. I need financial assistance with her final resting place. She did have insurance however it's been less than 2 years so they won't payout. I'm asking all of her family , friends and associates in Christ to help me with a monetary donation towards her services and final resting place. Which will be held on Friday September 4, 2020 at 1 pm @ Ferrara & Lee Colonial Mortuary, 351 Hewes St, Orange, CA 92869. Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated. I'm her daughter many of you know me and I'm ever so touched by all the love and gratitude that everyone has shown me and my family. Her favorite color was purple: The color purple relates to the imagination and spirituality. the sacred, higher self, passion, third eye, fulfillment, and vitality. Purple helps align oneself with the whole of the universe.This is the union of body and soul creating a balance between our physical and our spiritual energies. Purple or violet assists those who seek the meaning of life and spiritual fulfillment it expands our awareness, connecting us to a higher consciousness (GOD).  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).  GOD continue to bless us abundantly.
