Reverie Jru Lyons

My name is Jeff Lyons. My wife is Michelle Lyons. Many of you already know us and our situation. For those that don't, our son, Rylee, died December 9, 2022. His son, Reverie, was only two months old. For the next 5+ months, Reverie and his mother, Mackinzie Dorcy, lived with us at our home in North Little Rock, AR where we supporting them both without any other help from her family. Due to the fact that Rev was born with THC in his system (due to the mother's drug use), DHS in El Dorado required her to move back to El Dorado so they could monitor his growth and her support for him. In mid June she asked Michelle and I to take Reverie and file for guardianship.   After spending money we didn't have to hire an attorney to obtain the guardianship that SHE asked us to get, she's delayed for over a month before signing.  During this time we’ve accumulated legal fees and anticipate more in the future.  We also now have unanticipated costs for a babysitter each day while we work. We never expected any of this to happen and need help to cover these costs until the custody situation is settled.
