Reverse injustice for wildlife carers (support Tracy Dods)

A story of injustice against the most beautiful, caring, selfless and knowledgeable wildlife carer we have. While doing her absolute best to save an injured kangaroo, on her own time and money, the RSPCA and WIRES raided her property, inhumanely bagged an adult kangaroo and euthanised it on the closest public piece of land. Now she has faced the full brunt of the law, not for helping, not for caring, not for dealing with the trauma, not for loving and not for supporting, but for not transporting a stable and healing adult kangaroo to a vet once a week for checks, while dealing with covid lockdowns. She doesn’t deserve this, the animals need her knowledge, not a bag over the head and euthanasia under the hands of ‘authority’. She’s an amazing human, let’s all band together and help.

This amazing person has been found guilty, when everyone could learn a substantial amount of knowledge, rehab techniques and love, which is all she wants to share.

Now having been convicted and charged, something that has gone WAY too far, when all her organisation need to do was offer support, Tracy now needs us. Tracy has not only been banned from having any animals for 5 years, but she is also ordered to pay the RSPCA legal fees (even though they have PLENTY of money), on top of her own, which is not something an ordinary person can do.

Our community and our wildlife needs us all to band together and do what we can to help reverse this injustice and support Tracy, and all affected by this.

This doesn’t just affect Tracy, this sets a precedence for any animals carers that is absolutely not ok, and we need to make noise and let them know. An attack against one, is an attack against us all.

These donations will be used to cover Tracy’s court costs for this case, any forthcoming appeal costs and to help cover the legal expenses of the RSPCA which Tracy has been charged with. Thank you to everyone who has already generously donated.
