Help Barbara start her new life
Donation protected
My mother, Barbara Chavez, has been incarcarated for 20 years. She was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole in 1998. October 4, 2018 God performed a true miracle and allowed my mom to go before a Parole Board. The board committee agreed that she was rehabilitated, fit for society, and would be an asset to her community. Within the next 4 months we will be preparing for her to come home.
My mother has accomplished much in the last 20 years and has many goals and aspirations for the future. She will be graduating as a certified frug and alcohol counselor this month and is excited to put that skill set and passion to use. But she must start somewhere.
Tragically, both of her parents have passed away in her time in prison. She was not married and only has her children to come home to, my 2 brothers and I. We are willing to do whatever we can to help my mom reintegrate into society. She will need clothes, shoes, a bus pass or some means of transportation, hygiene products, and much more.
This is where we ask for your help. We are asking for continuous prayer and financial support. Would you continue to pray for my mom and our family as we help her transition. Would you also prayerfully consider donating to the financial needs my mom will have upon release.
This money will be used for my mom's (Barbara's) personal and profession needs. To help her start her life literally from scratch.
Thank you all for being a part of this journey, you are truly loved and appreciated.
"Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed." Proverbs 19:17
