Revitalize Elmina School: Repair, Renew, Inspire!

Dear Friends,

 We are on a mission to raise $3500.00 to address urgent repair needed at a school in Elmina, Ghana, our aim is to provide a better learning environment for the children. The school currently faces flooding issues during rain due to holes in the ceiling, broken windows invite mosquitoes and other insects into the classrooms. Broken doors and floor board which pose as safety hazards for both students and staff.

Your generous contribution will play a vital role in: 1. Fixing the roof to prevent water leakage.
2. Repairing the windows to provide a safer, bug-free environment
3. Repairs broken doors and floor boards to improve safety features and remove barriers.

 Below is a breakdown of the estimated costs needed for the urgent repairs at the school in Ghana, contributing towards our goal of $3238.00

**Roof Repairs:** -

 *Roofing Sheets*: We're getting 116 sheets at 140 GHS each (11.76 USD per sheet). -

*Roofing Nails*: We need 30 packs at 20 GHS each totaling 600 GHS (50.40 USD). -

*Transport*: To deliver the materials, it's 150 GHS (12.60 USD). -

*Workmanship*: Labor for installing the roof comes to 4,500 GHS (378 USD).

 **Door and Window Frames:** -

*Door Frames*: We need 8 frames, with each costing 250 GHS (21 USD). -

*Window Frames*: We need 8 frames here too, each at 300 GHS (25.20 USD). -

*Transport*: For moving these frames, we have 150 GHS (12.60 USD). -

*Evacuation*: The cleanup process is 3,840 GHS (322.56 USD).

 **Doors, Windows, and Hardware:** 

*Doors*: Two doors are needed, each at 400 GHS (33.60 USD). -

*Windows*: We're getting 31 windows at 150 GHS each (12.60 USD per window). -

*Door Hinges*: We require 12 hinges at 10 GHS each (0.84 USD per hinge). -

 *Window Hinges*: For these, we need 36 at 7 GHS each (0.59 USD per hinge). -

*Screws*: Two packs of screws are priced at 20 GHS per pack (1.68 USD per pack). -

*Window Door Frames*: This additional cost is 800 GHS in total (67.20 USD).

The overall repairs will cost approximately 3,237.53 USD, ensuring that all aspects of the roofing, frames, doors, windows, and hardware are covered.
