Revitalize Plee Projects After Traumatic Event

Regrettably, Dec 7th 2024 a few businesses were destroyed due to senseless violence. Unfortunately Plee Projects was one of them.

My heart sincerely goes out to the 2 victims who were injured & thank god they are alive

My Studio & Creative Incubator space Plee Projects owned by Patience Lee was severely damaged, vandalized and unsalvagley destroyed.

The mission of this studio was to create a budget friendly, cost efficient SAFE space for artists to create.. and not have to worry about restrictions that artists and creator usually face due to funds.

With hardly seeing profit from the work Patience puts into making sure artists have this space, while also a single mother, working with local alliances, community organizations & is apart of Mt Oliver’s Business revamp of bringing Art & Creative spaces to Brownsville Rd, and Co-Founded Art Oliver, Mt Oliver’s Annual Art Walk & Gay Pride Celebration. As a staple in our reviving and striving community… we are asking if you can please help us, in revitalizing damages so we can reconstruct our space to continue our mission.

Damages extend from:

Exterior (windows, door, and damage to boarding of property) even worse interior.. damages caused to artistic pieces collected, walls, ceilings, mirrors, tables, our light system, and much more. The scene was a bit gory, that a crime scene cleaner is required to cleanup.

At this time, we will have to close businesses until we can afford costs to reconstruct .. as Life Savings were invested as a bootstrapped funded company. Insurance processes take a long time, as by time they would even investigate the lost of revenue impacted on us from the closure to fix this devestation.
