Revive Angry Ferret Brewing in Simi Valley

Angry Ferret Brewing needs your help. We had to close our original location at the end of July. We got the keys to that location just 2 months before Covid shut down the world. We worked through that tough time and were able to open our doors in 2021. That means we were able to serve our Irish and English style beers to Eastern Ventura County for just over 3 years.

Well, we don’t want to give up on all the hard work that we have already put into the brewery. So, we are looking to open in a new location in Simi Valley. Simi Valley hasn’t had a brewery in over 30 years. And a city of this size should not be without one. We have located a space that would make a nice place to brew and share our beers. It has visibility to a major street, ample parking and best of all the landlord and city have no problem with it.

When we were originally looking for a location for the brewery, we looked at probably every empty space in Simi Valley. We wanted to have a brewery in our own town. Unfortunately for us, the available spaces and the city zoning did not line up. And we ended up opening in Moorpark. Since that time, the city has changed the zoning to open up more possible locations for breweries.

We have made so many new friends since we opened the brewery. And we want to continue to expand our group of friends in our home city. Opening a new location is not cheap. So, we are putting together this fund raising campaign to try and gather some additional money to get the building ready to host the brewery and tasting room.
