Revive Main Street Comics and Games in Downtown Marshall WNC

Calling all fellow Magic players, graphic novel heads, comic book lovers, board game enthusiasts, and TTRPG friends alike!

Kyle and Avia's shop, Main Street Comics and Games, is located in the heart of downtown Marshall, North Carolina, and serves as the lightning rod for one's inner child in Madison County. My friends opened their doors in 2021 with a concept and a dream: to give a rural community the ability to express itself in a space of creativity and imagination. Providing a safe haven to all who walked through their doors, young and old alike found themselves a place within this community. With the freedom to be themselves--regardless of age, race, gender, or sexuality, no matter if you prefer Marvel or DC (or don't care for either), or wherever you fall on whatever spectrum--you could call their shop home.

Due to the devastating flooding of the French Broad River by Hurricane Helene, we no longer have that home. The flood water, which crested at over 22 feet, destroyed all the contents of the shop--leaving behind a wake of mud, toxic muck from factories up the river, loss of livelihood, and a dream shattered.

To anyone who cherishes their third space--help Kyle and Avia reopen their shop by donating, liking, and sharing with anyone who wants to help restore the only comic book shop in Madison County.
