Glassroots Revival for SiNaCa Studios

My name is Clifton, and I am the Executive Director at SiNaCa Studios, a nonprofit school and studio dedicated to the education, promotion, and appreciation of the glass arts. Since 2011, SiNaCa Studios has been a beacon of creativity, offering classes, workshops, and events that ignite passion and foster artistic growth for people of all ages and backgrounds. SiNaCa Studios is the only non-profit, public access, community focused glass art organization in North Texas, and the anchoring visual arts organization in the Near Southside Arts Cultural District. We need your help!  

Today, we face an acute funding shortfall. The challenges brought on by the global pandemic, inflation, and economic volatility have severely impacted the arts sector. Our beloved studio is at risk, and we urgently need to raise $75,000 this summer to revive the organization and continue our mission. 

We cannot do this without you. Your immediate donation is crucial to our continued operation and will directly impact our ability to: 

Provide Studio Access: Ensure that financial constraints don’t hinder creativity by helping us offer public programming and affordable studio rentals. Glassmaking requires expensive equipment, and shared studio spaces support artists at all stages of their creativity. 

Maintain and Upgrade Equipment: High-quality, safe equipment is essential for our students to explore and create. Your support will enable us to maintain current tools and equipment, ensuring a top-notch learning environment. 

Support Artists: Artists are the cornerstone of our community. Your generosity will help us continue to host and support talented artists from around the world, providing paid teaching opportunities and a space to develop their work. 

Time is running out. Without your support, SiNaCa Studios will diminish operations and contemplate closure, extinguishing a vital source of creativity and inspiration in North Texas.
