Wassup! (mimicking my father) My name is Jonathon Hood. On July 2d 2022 my father Timothy Hood and I were out on a ride with a group of friends, we met up with the group at 8 am that morning and left shortly after headed south to Richfield UT and up onto i70 west bound.
We got into the canyons which we had maneuvered through the curves flawlessly trying to keep pace with the group. Then coming around a curve at mile marker 18 Tim went off into the median which had caused him to roll the bike resulting in him being launched off the bike.
I had called the ambulance at 9:43 am that morning and Tim died at 2:15 the same day due to his injuries. I will spare the details of the injuries for I saw more than enough to scar anybody.
My fathers bike had some how survived for the most part, all we know is the engine still fires up and the transmission is still good everything else is broken.
My father had a 2009 Harley-Davidson electraglide ultraclassic 1500cc air cooled and he loved it. Unfortunately come to find out the bike was not insured because his insurance had lapsed and he had no knowledge of it, given the fact that he was an over the road owner operator truck driver and my mother was working almost six days a week as an LPN and never had enough time to check the mail.
So I am asking for help to rebuild my fathers bike in such a way that it will be a tribute to him and so I can take my mother for a ride some day on my fathers bike where we both may be able to feel him in our hearts on our rides and so we can still hear him enjoying his ride.
at the bottom is the obituary of Timothy Hood.
