Donation protected
THIS CAMPAIGN IS NOW CLOSED. NO MORE DONATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED
On Saturday, August 3, 2019, Bootzy, the beloved family cat of a family in Kenesaw, Nebraska was shot thru the head with an arrow. Miraculously, the cat wandered back home and was rushed to a veterinary hospital where it survived surgery and is in guarded condition.
That same night, traps used by the Adams County Feline Coalition (ACFC) a non profit in Adams County Nebraska, we’re damaged or destroyed. Authorities believe that these two crimes could be related. ACFC is a nonprofit in Adams County that does TNR work.
Cruelty to animals is a Class III-A Felony in the State of Nebraska. The person(s) who did this horrific and cruel attack needs to be brought to justice. The ACFC is setting up a reward fund for concerned citizens to donate to. If a viable tip is sent to the Adams County Sheriffs Office that actually leads to the arrest of the person responsible, the reward will be given out.
If no tip ever is provided, the dollars raised on this page will be donated back to the ACFC for their Trap-Neuter-Release that was established in 2019. All funds will then be deposited into the ACFC account at the Hastings Community Foundation, a 501-c-3 nonprofit corporation.
