My name is Stacy, I lead the on the ground search efforts for local missing resident Irene Gakwa, a 33 year old Kenya native who moved to America with dreams of becoming a nurse and helping others.

Irene was last seen or heard from by her family on February 24, 2022 on a video chat with her parents in Kenya. After that video call, Irene disappeared. She is considering missing under suspicious circumstances. The man she was living with was charged with 5 felony charges after she went missing for stealing all of the money out of Irenes bank account, maxing out her credit card with purchases that included buying boots, pants and a shovel. He also deleted her email and her WhatsApp account. He was also seen by neighbors burning a 55 gallon drum in his back yard after Irene disappeared.

Irenes brothers and sister in laws who reside in Idaho, and her mother and father who live Kenya are all desperate for answers. All money that is donated on this GoFundMe will be put towards an award that will be paid out to the person or people who help us locate the missing barrel and help us achieve an arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Irenes disappearance.

Irenes ex-fiancé recently attempted to file a protection restraining order against myself, trying to halt our search efforts and keep us from sharing Irenes story.
