Reward to Help Find Travis Sackett

Donation protected
On February 21st, Travis went on a hike to the Imbabura Volcano in Ecuador. Unfortunately, he has not been seen since he left for his hike. Since his disappearance, local authorities and the US Embassy in Ecuador have been notified. Local police held searches on February 25 and 26, as well as March 4 and 6.  Weather has not allowed for a more consistent search. It is imparative that we continue to share Travis's story and keep his face out there in order to generate more awareness about his case and increase the chances of finding answers.

For those of you who do not know Travis personally, he is known for his love of hiking and traveling the world. Travis served for several years as a volunteer in both AmeriCorps and the Peace Corps in Peru and Guatemala, and is continuing his volunteer work in Ecuador. At the time of his disappearance, Travis was working on a farm in nearby Quito while he was between missions. Travis is a joy to be around and he is truly one of a kind and a great friend. We are desperately working to find him and would appreciate any contribution to help during this time.

Thanks to the generosity of so many, we have been able to raise the reward for finding Travis to $4,000. All money raised above the reward amount, will be used for expenses to continue search efforts to locate Travis. We are currently looking into organizing more teams of local guides not affiliated with the police to increase the consistency of the searches of the volcano. We cannot thank those of you who have donated enough for your generosity.  Without your help, we would not be able to make these efforts to find Travis.  Your kindness and words of support have meant so much to the family.
