Rex’s Emergency Medical Expenses

Our precious 3 year old Golden Retriever, Rex, was nauseous a few days ago, was brought to his vet and was transferred to the emergency hospital.

He unfortunately thought fabric tasted better than his food and sadly had led him to have an obstruction surgery.

At first, the doctors thought that he was only having gas problems from an infection but he had to be immediately transferred to the emergency hospital and had to undergo surgery the same day, which costed us $5516.31 in hospital bills and $808.74 in vet bills.

I know how important pet insurance is but I learned the hard way that his insurance was terminated a few weeks ago without me realizing. I have reactivated it and will make sure that this will never happen again.
