For over a year Reyanna has had an itchy rash, Many drs have tried to work out what it was but always failed. They would tell her to take antihistamines and then send her on her way. She has also been dealing with Cholesteatoma in both ears. On 11/07/24 Reyanna had Surgery to reconstruct her eardrum, she noticed a lump on the right side of her neck. The drs gave her antibiotics for the lump in her neck, but that did nothing. She's always tired, has no energy and She has also developed a persistent cough that has lasted for 6 months.

The drs finally sent her to have an ultrasound and CT scan. They had an appointment at the drs to find out the scan results, but mum realised she didn't have the money to pay for it so she had to cancel the Dr appointment.

Half an hour later, she had a call from the medical surgery, saying they needed to go in urgently, the Dr was happy to bulk bill for mum.

He didn't tell them for sure what it was, he just said he would send in an urgent referral to the PAH (Princess Alexandra hospital). Before mum left she asked him "could it be lymphoma?" He nodded and said "possibly". It took 3 weeks to hear from the PAH, on the 19th of December they had an appointment to see the Hematologist.

She said Reyanna needed to do more tests. She needed more bloods taken, a PET scan and a biopsy of the lymphnode under her right arm.

on the 23rd of December mum received a phone call to get Reyanna up to the hospital for the PET scan as someone had cancelled and they could get her in that day. On the 30th of December Reyanna had the biopsy of the lymphnode under her right arm.

On the 2nd of January they went back to the Hematologist to get the results. She said it was Stage 2 lymphoma could possible be stage 3, Apparently the Drs still need to have a team meeting to discuss it more. Reyanna will need to start chemo in 2 weeks. On the 3rd of January, they had a discussion with the fertility nurse about saving some of her eggs, as shes always said she wanted to have children, but they no longer bulk bill. On the 1st of January this year it was changed and will now cost over 8k.

On the 6th of January she had an echocardiogram and they are still waiting to do a few more tests on her organs before she starts chemotherapy.
