Burial Fund for Mia Faye Cashatt
Donation protected
To be honest, I don't even know where to start. My heart hurts for Jackie and Andrew, and all of the other families given the unfortunate task of burying their own children.
Jackie is a dear friend of mine and probably yours if you have ever met her. She's the type of person you can't help but love.
She was so happy (and nervous) the day she found out she was pregnant. I knew from day one she would be an awesome mother.
After her 20 week ultrasound (I think it may have actually taken place at about 22 weeks), the first phone call came in. The doctors diagnosed Mia with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a rare condition where the left side of the heart is underdeveloped. But that wasn't all.
After running more tests, Mia was diagnosed with Trisomy 18. We were devistated. Through everything, Jackie remained optimistic.
Unfortunately, the Lord had different plans for Mia Faye and she gained her angel wings on April 6, 2015.
Please continue to pray for the family. They need comfort, peace and healing that only the Lord can provide.
Our hope is to raise enough money to give Mia a proper burial. Will you please share this page to everyone you know and donate what you can. No amount is too small. Thank you and may the Lord bless you and your families.
