Support for Tammy Holmes

My mother, Tammy Holmes, is one of the strongest and most dedicated people I know. In her many years of battling cancer, she has beaten the odds time and time again.  From her original diagnosis of breast cancer, through a mastectomy and 3 separate reoccurrences, my mother has remained positive over the last 4 years in a fight for her life. She has worked hard to support herself and her family while battling cancer, continuing her work as a real estate agent even now from her hospital bed.


With this most recent reoccurence, the cancer has spread to her neck and brain. There’s a particular growth around the C4 vertebrae which has caused her to lose control of her feet and hands. We are uncertain what treatment options will be available for us going forward. Our hope is to prepare for the future in the best way we can. Whether that means seeing her through recovery inside of a hospital or providing in-home care. We will have difficult decisions to make moving forward, and whether the best option is medicinal, rehabilitation, or something such as hospice care, we are going to need support financially to offer my mother the treatment she deserves.
