A little bit about me:
Hi everyone! My name is Jilana Daley. I attend Crandall University where I am taking a BA in biblical studies, a youth leadership certificate and a worship certificate. I am currently serving at my schools chapel, occasionally leading worship there. As well as, serving at First Moncton Baptist Church as one of their worship leaders and one of their youth group leaders. I believe that God has called me to pursue a career in worship ministry after my schooling is finished. I recently completed a summer worship internship in Houston Texas, where I grew strongly in my relationship with God, and as a person. God took me on an incredible journey and adventure last summer in Texas, and He’s doing it again this coming summer but this time in Kona Hawaii!
I recently got accepted into YWAM (Youth with a Mission) for April 2024, which means I will be in Kona Hawaii for most of this coming summer! Where I will be focusing on growing closer to God, by experiencing amazing things and learning how to share the Gospel around the nations!
What will my schedule be like this summer?
A short testimony of my journey throughout the process of applying for YWAM:
Doing this is a big step for me. I have felt like God has been calling me toward YWAM since my first year of University (2 years ago), but the timing has never been right. (That, and God was telling me to wait until a later date). One week before Christmas break, my mentor asked me, “if God has been calling you to do YWAM, why haven’t you done it?” And my response, was “it’s poor timing, I don’t have the time or space to fit it into my schedule right now”. But God opened a door over the Christmas break immediately following this conversation, and allowed for timing to be absolutely perfect. This program starts and ends at almost the exact dates that my summer starts and ends. This just goes to show that God will provide through prayer and repetition! He wants what’s best for you, and if you ask, you will receive if it’s in His will!
When I received the call that I was accepted into the program, I knew God confirmed that I needed to go when a group of people in the background of the call started cheering and clapping for me as they told me I was accepted. I knew in that moment, that this summer is going to welcome in an amazing group of people to my life, and I know that God will provide and be with me every step of the way. I can’t wait to go on this journey, and I am so excited for what God has in store for my summer!

- While this is an amazing opportunity, it does have a cost to it. I will need to fundraise 10,000$ (Canadian dollars) by the middle of March in order to be able to go. If you are able to help financially, I would greatly appreciate it. Any amount helps, and I’d like to thank you in advance if you’re able to support me in this way!
- Prayer is the most powerful thing. Connecting with our Lord and Saviour, and seeking Him for counsel is extremely important and necessary. If you wouldn’t mind keeping me in your prayers over this journey, I would gratefully appreciate that.
