Help Stephanie Bergman fight Breast Cancer!

   A short time ago, my life long friend Stephanie Bergman was diagnosed with "invasive ductal carcinoma", better known as Breast Cancer.

   She was told that she was stage two and the doctors recommended a simple lumpectomy. Within the past week and recent test results this has now escalated to a mastectomy and that the cancer has more than likely spread to her sternum and lymph nodes. She is now waiting for further biopsies.

 Stephanie’s story

   Stephanie is an amazing single mother of two boys, 12 and 13.  She decided to relocate to Arizona nine years ago to provide a better environment for her children and has worked very hard to provide that for them. She has also taken on the responsibilities of caring for her elderly mother who suffers from several debilitating health issues. Stephanie has accomplished a lot in these past nine years. She has worked full time for the same company that she is still employed with, she recently purchased a new home and started to pursue her passion for Real Estate. She was in the last stages of taking her Real Estate tests when she received her diagnosis.

    The burdens of this diagnosis have become very real, very fast, and extend far beyond her own personal well being. This will soon have a severe impact on the livelihood of the family she is solely responsible for.

What we are asking for

   Stephanie is ready to fight the fight with cancer. It's hard for Stephanie to ask for help but the financial burdens of her situation far exceed what she alone can accomplish. With out-of-pocket medical expenses, insurance deductibles, living expenses when she is unable to work due to doctors appointments, as well as testing and upcoming surgeries. We estimate that we will need to raise at least $20,000. Every donation matters and every dollar counts.
