The Rumson-Fair Haven Rowing Team is proud to announce its 2018 Garden State Champion Women’s JV4+ crew has received acceptance to compete in the 2018 Henley Women’s Regatta in England, June 22-24, on the historic River Thames.
Sophomore rowers Claire Ciardiello, Emily Everett, Emma Honnold, Elizabeth Etzler and Margot White, along with their coxswain, Eric Grayson, will represent their team and high school at this prestigious international regatta. Head Coach Dan Edwards and daughter Kate Edwards, former Drexel Rower and RFH Rower, will travel with and train the athletes in the regatta's historic town of Henley-on-Thames, England.

These athletes have trained year-round to achieve this milestone . The coaches' annual training strategy involves 210+ hours on the water including practices at 5am on school mornings, 100+ hours erg training, 40+ hours indoor tank training, unlimited circuit training and 90+ hours of weight training .
Our Henley accepted athletes are excited to have a competitive experience as an international team representing Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, our community and the USA. In an effort to assist with these athlete's financial commitment, we are seeking sponsorships and donations.
The JV4+ winning semi-finals on the Cooper River in Camden, New Jersey.

All donations made to RFH Rowing/Rumson Boat Race Inc are TAX-DEDUCTIBLE.

Projected overall expenses total $20,000 including coaches’ travel, boat rental, regatta fees and athletes’ expenses (housing, meals, airfare and transfers).
