Hi!!!

My name is Brooke, & I'm a trans woman currently living in central Iowa.

I am stuck living with my emotionally abusive parents who voted for Trump & will never accept me as the woman I am. That situation has become less safe & more unsustainable as time has gone on & my transition has progressed, culminating with me having to use pepper spray on my dad earlier this year.

Over the past year & a half, I have been working towards a medical coding license, which would allow me to move out of state. I'm close to being able to sit for the licensing exam, but I broke both of my feet in separate freak accidents over the summer. Being off of work for that long elimanted the savings I had built up for moving.

Given the election results, I'm currently scrambling to make this move happen as fast as I reasonably & stably can. I am exploring options for safe states to move to & potentially have something lined up. My entire biological family are republican bigots & won't provide any help whatsoever.

Any funds donated will go exclusively towards moving costs, getting some minor issues with my car worked on, or medical transition costs. Any money not used for those will be saved for potential surgeries or immigration costs, if that becomes necessary.
