Darlene’s funeral services

Hey all, my name is Brittany and I am trying to help ease the financial burden that has been sprung on my aunt Darlene and her family. My aunt is one of the most selfless and caring people that I know. Unfortunately, her world has been turned upside down with the recent diagnosis of Stage 4 Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma. After having a Gynecologist appointment in August, she received her results about 4 weeks later in Mychart. She did NOT have an account made, so was unable to get digital results. Due to the lack of responsibility from a doctor to call her and tell her she had an abnormal result, Darlene had no clue. Darlene was brought into the ER on January 29th due to shortness of breath. Days prior, she had other symptoms of pain but associated it with cleaning the house. After having various scans, bloodwork, etc, my Aunt was informed of multiple severe concerns that had arisen. Her lung was filling with cancerous fluid, and a vaginal mass was found among other areas cancer has spread. She was finally able to be discharged from the hospital on February 17th. Darlene has worked as a CNA for the past 42 years up until now, caring for the local community's sick and elderly. Darlene has proudly raised 3 now adult children as a single mother. Needless to say, she has a heart of gold and deserves the best care in her time of need. She is currently staying at my parent's house to have 24/7 care from my mother (her sister). Darlene is now in constant need of 3L oxygen as well as various other medical needs. Both of my parents are no longer working due to unrelated health conditions, so essentially there is no income aside from Social Security Income. Please consider helping to lighten the load in this very scary and trying time.
