Steve and his Family

Hi Everyone,

I hope this email finds you well.

Tony Margiotta, a fellow veteran, and I are gearing up for a half marathon in Normandy, France, on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. This run is a tribute to the bravery of those who served.

I had initially planned to run with close friends, including my dear friend Steven Hartigan. Sadly, Steven, who was eagerly anticipating his retirement this August after 30 years with the London Fire Brigade, has recently been diagnosed with stage four cancer. His time is now limited.

In light of these circumstances, Tony and I are dedicating the marathon to raise funds for Steven, his partner Lou, and his children, Harriet (7) and James (13). This is our chance to come together and support them during this challenging time, cherishing every moment they have as a family. Your generosity in donating whatever you can means the world to us as we take on this challenge in honour of Steven.
