Independence Football
Want to join me in making a difference? Over the past 2 seasons, the Independence High Football has rebuilt the foundation for success that many of you remember in the Charlotte/Mint Hill area. To continue this positive momentum we need to begin to refresh many items that are no longer operating correctly, update outdated equipment and provide opportunities for the student athletes to grow in their capabilities and experiences.
To do this, we desperately need your help! Please consider giving to benefit Independence High School Football Program any donation will help make an impact. These funds would be earmarked for football and the team will purchase:
- Pre-game meals- $1,700 (JV/Varsity Thursday/Friday meals)
- Jugg Machine- $3,295
- End zone camera- $2,200 (Better view specifically for OL/DL. Helps kids when getting recruited that play OL/DL)
- Single man sled- $1, 745
- Tackling Rings x2- $355 each
- Field Maintenance- $3,500 (Buying of paint for practice and game-days, Mowing, gas, treatment, Logo for a 10wk season)
- Footballs x7- $109.95
- Guardian caps x 10- $125 (helmet soft shell that reduces impact)
- Agility Circles x2 - $105 each
- QB 3 pocket accuracy net - $875
- Elite body hand shield - x4- $185each
- Surge replacement hands pad x4- $415each
- Uniforms- $5,320 (Gameday compressions, girdles, new green pants)
- New helmets/ Shoulder pads (5 of each)- $5,000 (many helmets are about to be outdated so we need to purchase about 5 new helmets a year)
