Help Stephanie's Family Rebuild Their Home
Donation protected
Greetings, this is Ramson Lomatewama. Some of you may know my work as a glass artist.
On Friday, March 7, 2025, my daughter Stephanie, her husband, and their two young children ( ages 12 and 8) watched their home burn to the ground. It happened at night as the snow came down She and her husband Horace were preparing for a ceremony the next morning. We are grateful that no one was home at the time.
They are a resilient family, and have accepted the loss of their home and all of their belongings. Friends and family quickly responded with donations of clothes, food, and blankets, etc., and for that, we are truly grateful.
However, they are now without a home.
With the help of my good friend and artist, Gerald Clarke, we are asking you to help them begin anew. Stephanie and Horace are self-employed artists. She is a basket weaver and ceramicist, and he is a kachina doll carver. Both of their children attend our local school. Last fall, Stephanie was commuting back and forth to Coconino Community College in Flagstaff (100 miles away) to further her education and taking care of her family at the same time. Her dream was to establish her own ceramic studio. Her dream has now gone up in smoke.
With your generosity, this fund will bring them closer to building a simple but new home.
They are a family that will always be dedicated to their art and to their culture.
Please help them to re-establish their lives.
With my sincerest respect and gratitude,
