It's been over 2 years since Rhi and I were meant to run the London marathon. We have had a little baby since, and some terrible news regarding Rhi's mum, Kate, who has been diagnosed with Stage IV bowel cancer. Rhi won't be running unfortunately, but I will do my best to carry the flag. I need to raise £2,000 for Mind as this is the charity that I am representing on the run, but with Kate's recent diagnosis, I will also be running for Cancer research and anything we can raise over £2K, will go to Bowel babe; for Cancer Research UK, raising money to fund clinical trials and research into personalised medicine for cancer patients and supporting campaigns to raise awareness of bowel cancer. The incredible mental health charity Mind believes that no one should have to face a mental health problem alone... and neither do we. That's why we're running the London Marathon 2020 in support of Mind.
What does Mind do?
Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. Mind is there to listen and give support and advice to anyone that needs it. And Mind won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.

So on Sunday 26th April we'll be proudly running to raise funds in support of the important work Mind does and to allow them to continue to be there for everyone who needs them. 100% of the funds donated will go directly to Mind and this is what your important donation could do:
- £10 could allow Mind to send essential information booklets about mental health to 40 people.
- £40 could pay for 28 people to campaign for change on behalf of Mind.
- £70 could keep the Mind online community, Elefriends, open and safe for 2 hours.
- £120 could offer a lifeline to 8 people in desperate need of support from the Mind legal line.
- £200 could help Mind keep the Infoline open for 1 hour, helping 35 people.
- £300 could support a young person bereaved by suicide to access 1:1 and group support.
