motorcycle diarys of the riding dog
Buenas tardes, guten Tag, hello
one day, on Christmas Eve this guy showed up on our farm in the beautiful mountains of La Rumorosa (Mexico).
He said he was german but came down from Canada and wanted to go to Uruguay.
Later on by the fire, while the windows started to freeze on the outside, he told us he had started his trip in Halifax (Canada) and crossed the boarder to the US at Detroit.
Further on he told us how he had found himself buying a motorcycle (Kawassaki KLR 650) in Utah.
So - there he is this 22 years old boy, sitting in our living room and telling us about his adventures.
I sat there and my tongue started dripping. So, I thought to myself: I'm gonna go to Uruguay!
He stayed a couple of days helping out on the Ranch, but as the day came he was about to leave, I knew: now is my turn!
I ran as fast as I could to keep up with him. He couldn't leave without me!
He turned his head and looked back at me....
and accelerated, bastard.
So I had to get faster. My little feet started hurting but I couldn't let him go, I knew he would need me and I too need him.
He turned his head a second time...
The gap between us got smaller, till I finally reached him.
He took out his waterbottle and let me drink.
He lit a cigarette and looked like he was thinking.
After a little while he started to empty out one of the motorcycles boxes......
This box then was my home for the next couple of months .
We drove down the Baja California Paninsular till I grew out of the box and needed a new home.
In Todos Santos B.C.S. (Mexico), we sat at a bar, Rhino drank a cold Corona, I had my water. All of a sudden a guy showed up by our bike outside and looked at the empty box with just a blanked in it. We walked up to him and started talking.
As he realized that I was the one riding in this box, he looked at my paws critically and said to me: "you will not get in there any longer".
Rhino had to admit he struggled, trying to tell that guy he would build something like a bigger box on the back once it would be the time.
But the guy (James Michael Pierson) said "no! We will build something together. I know how to weld and you can help me on my projects."
A couple days later they started to think about what they could built.
And after 3 wonderful months at a wonderful place with wonderful people I jumped the first time in my personal motorcycle dog home – a trailer made of a barrel!
So far we traveld the baja calefornia paninsular and mad it all through Mexico to Canncun.
it was an am amazing expirience for me riding in a trailer wich changes during the time to an more and more comfortable 5star dogmobile
Thanks for reading and hopefully for your support too.
