Help the Dixon Family

Donation protected
UPDATE: We hit the $10K goal and would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts. Any future donations from this point forward is going to the burden of providing for the kids on a single parent income. My mother’s viewing is at Westside Funeral Home (204 Seventh St W Palmetto, FL 34221 United States) on Friday February 2nd between 6pm-8pm. Instead of bringing flowers to the wake I ask that you all bring a beautiful picture of my mother so we can create a collective display that my family will later take home. I want to thank the Ellenton Florist for the flowers that my mom always loved. I want to thank West Side Funeral Home for taking care of my mother. I want to thank anyone who made this possible. This is going to go to my mom’s service. In light of hitting the goal I wanted to share somethings my mom loved. She loved her kids, she loved corny jokes, she loved cooking her delicious food, she loved sports, she loved all the kids she had the opportunity to be a second mother to, and let’s not forget she loved this community. This fundraiser shows the impact she made and how much the community cared for her. I wish she could see how much she was loved and that she is no longer doubtful of herself.

My name is Carlos Picart son of Angela and Joel Dixon. Many know my mom and dad’s were inseparable and love undying. Angela Dixon (38) was a beloved member by all in her community. On my birthday January 20th 2024 my mother lost her battle with depression sadly taking her own life. She leaves behind two kids ages 11, and 8, her oh so loving husband and many family members. She also leaves behind many kids in the cheer, baseball, football, volleyball communities she was in which she all treated as her own. My mother was such a beautiful soul whose life ended too short. She helped anyone she could from all walks of life. I only wish that more people could have met my mother to experience the warmth she radiated. I’m asking in this time for the community she gave her life for to seek in their hearts to help us get through this tragic time. I will tell anyone about my mother who wishes to know the kind of person she was. Donations are going towards my mother’s service. Any further donations are going towards her two babies future. Thank You to all who took the time to read this.
