RHODA JANE SLABY

Hello family and friends, We are raising money to help cover my mother's burial, She had life insurance but that was only the min $5000. We are in need of help to cover the rest of the expenses and get her a headstone. We lost our Sister Delia only a few weeks before our mom's passing so our resources are spread thin. If you know me you know that I am very independent and never ask for help. This time, We need your help.

Rhoda Jane Slaby, age 76; a resident of Bealeton Virginia passed away August 4, 2023. She had been a nurse, mother, sister, daughter, an amazing aunt, and friend of many. She was preceded in death by her daughter Delia I. Richards and her son Seth J. Slaby. Her mother Florence Irene Harvey, her brother Christopher T. Harvey, and her sister Jeannette M. Funk. Rhoda leaves behind her significant other Jose Garcia. Rhoda's siblings are Adam Harvey of VA (Linda Harvey) and Beth West of TN. Also survived by her children; Lisa E. Pollino of Washington, Tim J. Slaby and wife, Morgan Slaby of California, Matthew K. Slaby of California, Tipton A. Kerns & husband Dustin Powell of Virginia, Jeremy C. Kerns & wife, Amanda Kerns of Virginia; and many, many grandchildren, great children, nieces, and nephews whom she all loved dearly. She will be missed immensely.

A visitation will tale place on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 1-2:00 p.m. at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Avenue, Warrenton, VA, where a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Saturday, August 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Nokesville, VA.
