Rhonda LaValley’s Celebration of Life
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we, her children; Justin, Destiny, and Deborah, have to be in this position to lay our mother to rest just two short years after the loss of our dad. On Sunday, July 14, 2024, our mom, Rhonda LaValley, had a tragic fall in her home and succumbed to her injuries at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.
Many of you may not be aware of what our mom was going through these past few years. She deeply struggled with the loss of her sister to cancer and tragic sudden loss of her husband. Unfortunately, she turned to drugs for comfort and got pulled into a battle with addiction. Although she was fighting hard in that battle, we want to remember our mom for how she was before this disease took control of her life.
Our mom was best known by the community for her deep devotion to her children's sporting events and dedication to clubs such as boosters and PTA. To the family, she was the most loving and selfless mother and grandmother we could have ever hoped for. She wanted nothing more than to be present in our lives given the circumstances. She never let a day go by without telling us how proud she was and how much we were loved.
We are so appreciative of the outpouring love and kindness we have received thus far. There is, however, a lot of financial hardships that we will be facing in regard to her services, burial, and estate. Unfortunately, there was no will in place so we will have to go through Probate to sort everything out. We truly appreciate any and all financial support that can be given during this difficult time. All monies donated will be used for cremation, services, flowers, burial, celebration of life, and any unforeseen expenses.
Services will be determined at a later date.
