Let's help support Rhonda Lough's family

Tragically on Sunday March 17th 2024 while watching her son's hockey game like any other normal day, unfortunately Rhonda fell forward while sitting in the stands suddenly at the arena. Many people attempted to save her by performing CPR and the Hospital were able to get her heart going, however, she suffered a significant brain injury.
Ultimately, this has led to many days in the hospital and further testing and regrettably, it had been declared that Rhonda was brain dead and there is no chance of her surviving this terrible accident and going home to her husband and children and she was removed from life support on March 21, 2024.
Rhonda dedicated her life to her 2 children and husband. She was very involved in Brampton Hockey, Brampton Special Olympics and baseball. Actively involved with the school PTA as the children grew up.
Rhonda had the greatest care for family, friends and her community. She was always the first one to lend a hand even when she didn't have the energy, time or the financial means. She was the person calling to check on you when you went through hard times, coming to care for you and help in any way possible, crocheting for you and your family, offering support in anyway she could.
Rhonda leaves behind her husband Tim, 18 year old Derrick and 15 year old Katherine and is now reunited with their daughter Ashley and her dear sister Lilly and her father.
Now it's our time as a community and a village to come together to help this family as much as are able to. This could not have happened at a worse time as unfortunately the family was not financially or emotionally prepared to lose her.
We are all devastated by Rhonda’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Rhonda the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
We also want to ensure the children and Tim are able to manage over the next several months as they navigate life without Rhonda.
