Rhonda Needs Our Help

Hello, my name is Laurie Johnson. I am raising funds for my childhood friend Rhonda Miller who was recently diagnosed with a meningioma (brain tumor) March 26, 2023. On November 15, 2023 she is having surgery to remove the tumor. Because the mass is attached to her trigeminal nerve and pressing on her brain stem, this is an invasive surgery and requires at least 3 months of down time for recovery. The doctor will remove as much as he can, however she will need radiation to kill the rest of the tumor.

Rhonda is a single Mother with a Son in his first year of college. She is an Instructional Assistant for the Hillsborough County School Board and has been there for many years. Her career goal to be a certified teacher had to be put on hold while she sacrificed to raise her two sons alone. She was almost at the point to go back to school for 2 more years to earn her Bachelors when this news came. Unfortunately, she does not have disability insurance. Rhonda is afraid of losing everything she has struggled to attain because of not being able to work for 3 months during recovery. She is in need of your prayers and any financial help you can give.
