This is my mother. Her name is Rhonda Reinhart. She was reaching down to pet a German shepherd and as she did so, the dog jumped up and bit her in the face taking part of her nose and lip off. The doctors in Kalispell Montana said that they didnt feel comfortable doing the extensive surgery that It would take to put her nose and lip back together and her best bet would be to go to Seattle WA in a week to get the work done.

I am reaching out to friends and family and anyone willing and interested in helping our family out with the medical costs as well as travel expenses for her to get her nose and lip surgically replaced by a reputable doctor. She is a loving and devoted nurse and mother, my mom is my best friend, she would do anything for anyone in our family. She is brave, courageous and selfless. She can easily brighten anyone's day by her sense on humor and laughter, I don't want to ever see my mother's smile hindered by such an unfortunate incident.

I know there will be people that read this and see fault in the dog that did this, but before anyone says anything too harsh, the dog was in its own home and my mother was invited into the house by a family member and because the dog was not familiar with her, when she reached down to pet the dog, it acted out in defense.
