Rhonda Russell 01-17-1962 - 05-02-2024

I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Rhonda and her surviving family. Rhonda was diagnosed with a terminal illness in March of this year and on May 2nd, the sun set on her earthly life. Her work in healthcare, her work with intellectually disabled individuals and her love for the people in her life are just a few of the ways that Rhonda’s light made this world a little brighter. All money raised will be directly used to help Rhonda’s daughter (who is also battling severe health issues) in paying for funeral expenses. Prior to her passing, Rhonda shared with her daughter that it was her wish to be laid out for a short time before entering into her final resting place to allow people to say goodbye because, in her words, “people really did like me you know”. And they did, she touched more than she ever knew. Every person deserves a farewell in accordance to their wishes. Every family deserves a beautiful goodbye. Rhonda did not always get what she deserved out of this life, but hopefully together we can give her back some of the kindness she extended by honoring her final wishes.
