Join Rhonda's fight with Stage 4 CNS Lymphoma

Friends and Family,

My name is Lacey, I am writing this with a Heavy Heart, I am setting up this fundraiser for my mother Rhonda Larson. All of you who know Rhonda or as many would call her mom, know that she is a strong, self-less, passionate and determined woman. She Never asks for anything or help from others; she has always persevered and carved out her own path all while helping those who need it along the way.

Rhonda was hospitalized in the middle of june. Then started a VERY long journey of testing and scans, blood draws and meds. For 2 long months nobody could give us any answers. Finally after 3 different hospitals mom was diagnosed with Large B Cell Non-Hodgins Lymphoma stage 1 as well as Stage 4 central nervous system lymphoma. This is a very rare kind of lymphoma and very aggressive.

She would never ask for any kind of help. That is why I am asking for help for her. She has been recieving an aggressive Chemotherapy at UNMC in omaha. Her treatments require her to stay inpatient for about a week at a time for the 1st chemotherapy and a week later she goes back for the second type of chemo. They will do a series of these treatments for around 16 weeks.

Anyone who knows rhonda, knows how she lights up the room with her smile, wit and passion for life. She is so loved and needed; I cannot imagine life without her. She just spent her 56th birthday in the hospital and has a lot of Living left to do.

Rhonda is a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend but most of all a mother and grandmother. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

This fundraiser has been set up to help rhonda pay medical bills, home bills and help with the loss of income. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
