Help RHS JAZZ BAND go to Lionel Hampton Fest 4-21

Roosevelt Jazz band students have been looking forward to this opportunity to compete and learn at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Fest for 3 years - put off due to the pandemic. Making up for lost time, they put in the work and have raised up to a higher Division! This will be a chance to compete at this higher level at one of the largest and oldest educational jazz festivals in the world - the University of Idaho Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival!

Thanks to incredible support from beautiful humans, the $6000 Idaho bill - the bus and lodging is now paid for ALL the students, many whose families did not have the means to do this.

We modestly raised the goal to $8000, to cover the costs for equipment and instrument repair that is truly much needed. The band program serves 145 students total! We often make it by with donated instruments and even have a broken key on the studio piano.
