Rhyan Singh -Physiotherapy medical expenses

Hi all, we are contacting you with a story of a courageous young boy named Rhyan Bidur Singh, who is currently in hospital after a devastating incident.

On 27th July 2023, Rhyan was tragically stabbed multiple times, leaving him with severe injuries that required immediate surgery (which went on for 7-8 hours). Rhyan and his friend were allegedly attacked by a group of eight armed men while playing basketball in Tarneit, one of the western suburbs of Melbourne. The group demanded their mobile phone and Rhyan’s brand new pair of Nike Air Jordan sneakers, a birthday gift from his parents.

As a community, we are coming together to support Rhyan’s family during this challenging time by organizing a fundraising campaign to meet their overwhelming medical expense.

Rhyan is a bright, kind-hearted, and promising individual who has touched the lives of many with his infectious smile and caring nature.

We are humbly asking for your support in any way you can. Your generous contributions will make a significant difference in Rhyan’s journey to recovery which will require a lot of physiotherapy and counselling sessions to help him come out of the trauma and get back to his all-time passion – playing cricket.

Rhyan has played cricket all his junior days and is loved by everyone he has played, trained and mentored. Only last cricket season Rhyan forced his way into Point Cook Cricket Club seniors 1st XI team after some great performances in the season as a junior player. Rhyan also played for the U17 Western Region Representative boys team and was their opening batsman, scoring a hundred among other crucial innings. Previously Rhyan won the U15A Premiership at WRJCA and was a force behind the team winning the Premiership.
