In Memory of Ricardo Manuel

Hi everyone, my name is Jennivieve or as Tito Intig used to call me Ate Beb.

I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of The Manuel Family.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking loss of our uncle, Ricardo, who passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2024. Ricardo was more than just family; he was the comedian, the loudest voice in any room and the kind of person who could light up your darkest days with his humour and warmth. He was a best friend to everyone he met and, most importantly, the most loving husband to Rachelle and dedicated father to Ysabelle.

Ricardo’s love for life was unmatched. He brought people together with his laughter and his generous spirit. To know him was to be welcomed into a space of joy, laughter and kindness.

In the months before his passing, Ricardo wished to return to the Philippines to spend Christmas with his father, who was also unwell. Unfortunately, Ricardo fell ill himself and, in an unimaginable twist of fate, both he and his father passed away on the same day.

We are raising £6,000 to fulfil his final wish of being laid to rest in his homeland, the Philippines, where he can be reunited with his father, brothers and surrounded by loved ones. The funds will be used to bring Ricardo home and arrange a funeral that honours the incredible man he was.
