Ricardo Muñoz Monge, gran MVP de Microsoft, mentor, amigo y "hermano" de muchos, esposo y orgulloso padre, falleció este 03 de Mayo en la madrugada. Este evento trágico e inesperado es devastador para todos los que lo conocíamos. Deja atrás a su madre, a su esposa y a su bebé de 2 años, a quienes amaba con toda su alma.
Ricardo fue bien conocido por sus contribuciones a las comunidades y eventos de Microsoft SharePoint y Office 365 en América Latina y Europa. Fué y seguirá siendo amado por todos los que lo conocíamos. Es un hecho que lo extrañaremos.
Son muchos los gastos que se requieren para ayudar a Ricardo a llegar a su lugar donde puede descansar en paz. Murió en Santiago, Chile, pero será trasladado a Costa Rica, donde están enterrados su familia y sus antepasados.
Sabemos que hay muchas solicitudes de amigos, familiares y colegas en la comunidad de Microsoft que buscan brindar asistencia y ayuda. Esta recaudación será destinada para sufragar los gastos de repatriación de sus restos y honras fúnebres. Todos los fondos recaudados irán a la esposa de Ricardo para cubrir los gastos.

Ricardo Muñoz Monge, Microsoft MVP, husband, father, and friend passed away on May 3 due to a heart attack. This tragic and unexpected event is devastating to everyone who knows him. He leaves behind a loving wife and a 2 year old child.
Ricardo is well known for his contributions to the Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365 communities and events throughout Latin America and Europe. He will surely be missed.
There are many expenses in helping Ricardo get to his final resting place where he can rest in peace. He died in Santiago, Chile but will be transported to Costa Rica where his family and ancestors are buried.
He is loved by everyone who knows him. He had a big heart. Ricardo is known by many in his community in Santiago, Chile as well as his home in San Jose, Costa Rica.
We know there are many requests coming from friends and family and colleagues in the Microsoft community who are looking to provide assistance and help. All funds collected will go to Ricardo's wife to cover the expenses. We are hoping to collect the funds in the next week and close the fund raising by May 13.
