I’m one of the daughters of Rick; our father passed 1/22/24 unexpectedly after 3 days in metro health trauma icu. He experienced cardiac arrest and had a bad rollover accident on his way to dialysis the morning of 1/19/24 in which he was unresponsive at the scene. Ems was able to regain his heart after 20min of cpr. Our dad continued to remain unresponsive despite the numerous tests & stimuli given. We were advised that our dad will never wake up from this coma As a family, that being his wife & children we stood bedside with him until his last heartbeat. My dad did not have life insurance. As many of you know, he’s a cancer survivor, liver transplant recipient & was in stage 4 renal failure so he was unable to qualify for the insurance based off his extensive list of pre-existing conditions. Amongst my siblings and myself, we will do what we can financially. We’re asking if you could help us in any way. We are forever grateful for all the prayers, love & support that has been showed for our dad God bless all of you!
