Rica's treatment and surgery for Kidney Disease

Rica is a 25 year old Woman from Saint Lucia suffering from stage 5 kidney disease.

A kidney transplant, which is not offered in Saint Lucia, costs roughly $260,000- $400,000 US and this does not include the first six months of medication needed to help a patient recover post-transplant.

Rica lives with her Mom, her older sister and her nephew (8) and Niece (2). Rica was one of two working individuals in the household but has been placed on sick-leave since May 2021.

The following is a written statement from Rica:

"My name is Rica Pierre and I am 25 years old. I was diagnosed with stage Five(5) kidney disease in December 2020.

May 2021, I had to be placed on dialysis due to high levels of toxins in my blood which cost $150 (EC) a session and I do three sessions a week. I am currently on sick-leave due to my condition.

Hopefully my goal is to do a kidney transplant as soon as possible and would appreciate any assistance you can provide whether it be prayers or financial aid.
