Richard Banks Best Actor Award

I have been friends with Richard Banks  for a few years and have always found him to be very helpful, kind and supportive to others.   He has been in many different TV/ Films. 

Fantastic Horror Film Festival in San Diego.  26th October - 28th OctoberWhy? Because he has been nominated for Best Actor in a Short Film.

So when I found out he had been nominated for Best Actor Award I knew that something had to be done to get him there it a chance of a life time for any actor.
So this it  San Diego or bust.
This is why I am setting up this  GoFundMe page for him



Friends had urged Him to swallow my pride and ask for crowd funding support to fund a trip.

The costs are looking at figures in excess of £1500.

He  ummed and arrghed about it, but  felt a bit uncomfortable asking directly, but someone asking on his behalf, I could cope with 
I know hard things are at this time, but genuinely every penny will count 
If you're not able to support me financially, I know that doesn't mean you don't support or encourage me.

The funds would be used to pay for Return flights to San Diego, accommodation and cost of attending the award ceremony, travel insurance and any other expensive.

Good news: Ok for the first time in my life I have been nominated for best actor in short film at an international film festival. 
:-) Bad News: It is in San Diego

Good news:. There are flights to San Diego and hotels in San Diego

Bad news:. I can't afford to get to Sidcup let alone San Diego.

Good news: there are tickets to the event

Bad news: I can't even afford a cinema ticket.



So For once I am going to swallow my pride and ask for help .
