In memory of Richard Hepworth

Wingerworth Junior Sports Association prides itself on being a Community grassroots football club - somewhere kids go to have fun with their friends, exercise and feel part of a team and a wider club.

But the club impacts more than just those kids - it's the parents who stand on the touchline in the wet and the cold, it's the grandparents who listen to the stories of Jimmy's 20 yard strike, its whoever has to get the mud out of the kit and who spends their life despairing at the state of their car after matches.

Today, WJSA is saddened by the sudden passing of Richard Hepworth, a loving father to one of our U10s players, but we're here to support his amazing wife and children because this is what this club is all about.

We want to help in any little way that we can, so this page has been set up with the backing of all in the club and Max's team, the U10 Wolves, to show our love and generosity to the family.

Donations raised will go to a cause of the family's choosing, as we come together to show our love and support for them at this very difficult time.

If anyone wants to make a donation then it will be truly welcomed and put to good use. There is no obligation, it's just an opportunity to show that we care.
