Our community lost a true treasure on Friday, August 25th. Rick Moreno, passed after a fierce battle with cancer. Rick Moreno was a dancer, musician, painter, art framer, musical director and ARTIST--in the entire sense of the word. He leaves behind a grieving family and an equally saddened cultural community. We are calling upon that community to pull together to give Rick the proper send off in a celebration of life. Your donations will go directly to his family toward his celebration and final end of life expenses. The community celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1pm at the San Jose Woman's Club, 75 S 11th St, San Jose, CA 95112. The event will include artistic offerings from Rick's Artist friends and will feature a sale and silent auction of over 100 pieces of original work by Rick Moreno. No donation is too small.
