Hello, my name is Emmanuel Otero and I am the youngest son of Richard Otero, SR., who unfortunately passed on 6/1/23 at 69 years young. My father was born in Mexicali, Baja California Norte, Mexico, on March 3, 1954. He immigrated to California at a very young age with his parents and many siblings (most who are no longer with us). He lived majority of his life in Westmorland, CA, and most of his final years near Yucaipa, CA. My father never set up a financial plan for his death and during his final days it was his wish for us to create a gofundme so it could alleviate any financial burden upon his family. My father was a man that gave a lot even though having very little. Helping people in their time of need was a great gift he had. From people losing their home and needing a place to stay, to a plate of some freshly cooked food he helped where he could.
