Richard "Rick" Fortmann Memorial

Hi, I am funding for the family of Richard Fortmann:

On Saturday, July 10, 2021, the family's hearts were shattered as the life of Richard "Rick" Fortmann has ended and he is now with loved ones in heaven.

Rick was a hero, to some, who fought for our country in two wars with the Army. He developed heart issues that had to have a defibrillator put in years prior to the devastating diagnosis of Peritoneal Mesothelioma Cancer.

Rick leaves behind his Mom, Peggy Sopyrch (Greg), a younger sister, Carrie Antonsen (Wally), two step-sisters, Lisa Bates, and Traci Kamick (Jason) and most importantly his Fiancé, Jody Thompson, who is the most caring, kind and loving person he had by his side the entire fight.

So many of you have reached out and asked how you can help the family during this devastating time. Know that your prayers and kindness are much appreciated as the family endures this heartbreaking moment.
